Zuri Godfrey is an Integrated Marketing Manager at Meta promoting their Ray-Ban Meta AI glasses. Prior to Meta, he spent four years at both Google and YouTube where he held brand management, brand strategy, creator advocacy, naming, and social strategy roles. Before Google/YouTube, Zuri gained experience at ESPN in Sports Marketing, Nike in Retail Sales, the NFL in Fan Engagement, and PwC in Management Consulting.
He has been honored as a 2024 Cannes Lions 30 Under 30 Brand Marketer, 2023 ADCOLOR FUTURE, 2023 Jordan Brand Top 23 Howard University Alumni, 2023 Black Marketers Association Top 20 Marketer, and the 2023 Product Marketing Alliance New Comer of the Year. Back in 2022, COLOR Magazine recognized him in their 40 Under 40 list.
Zuri is a former division one athlete and alumnus of Howard University, where he played Varsity Football and majored in Business Management. Residing in Los Angeles, California but born and raised in Hampton, Virginia, Zuri's purpose is to serve, speak, and succeed. Hence, he is Founder of The Village, a non-profit organization and Group Mentorship Program for college students and recent graduates that has a DNA of Development, Networking, and Accountability.
RaShad Oliver currently works on the Regulatory Affairs Finance team at Google, where he manages the financial aspects of regulatory and litigation matters. Prior to joining Google, he was part of Microsoft’s Finance Rotation Program and completed 13 internships while attending Howard University.
Since 2021, RaShad has been deeply committed to mentorship, guiding over 20 of his mentees in their personal and professional journeys. His passion for mentorship stems from a desire to help others avoid the challenges he once faced and achieve their goals more efficiently. As the incoming President of The Village, RaShad is excited to leverage his experience to help the nonprofit grow both financially and in its impact on students.
